Msgr. Desmond Council No. 13348
The Msgr. Francis J. Desmond Council was Chartered May 30, 2003, and is associated with St. Jude The Apostle Church in Lewes, Delaware. The Grand Knight for the 2008-2009 year is Joe Signorelli. The Council meets at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at St. Jude The Apostle Parish Religious Education Building. St. Jude's Church is located on the north bound side of Highway 1 about 1/2 mile north of the intersection of US 9 and Route 1 (5 Points) in Lewes, Delaware.
Pope Benedict has declared June 28, 2008 to June 2009 as The Year of St. Paul. St. Jude The Apostle Parish web site has established a great deal of information about St. Paul to include the Life of St. Paul, special Parish events that will be taking place during the year, and external links relating to St. Paul. Make you reservations now for our annual Christmas Party to be held on December 12, 2008 in the Parish Life Center.
Our Council will hold the second annual Breakfast at the Manger after the 8:30 and 10:00 Mass on Sunday December 14.
Please note the correct date for the joint social meeting with the Columbiettes in January will be Wednesday, January, 28th.
There will be no Social Meeting in November.
